The 30-second attack ads will air on TV closer to the election. In the meantime, Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce will busy itself softening up their latest victim – state Supreme Court Justice Louis Butler – with a multi-front offensive that includes broadsides like this YouTube video.

Well, nobody should be surprised that WMC has launched another campaign for the State Supreme Court. They bought a seat on the high bench for Annette Ziegler, and now they're taking aim at Justice Louis Butler. The object is obviously to create a totally business-friendly court to mirror the one that George W. Bush has managed to install in Washington. Scary. And they could get away with it. They're pretty confident after last year's election.
